What is Nature of Texas?
Nature of Texas is a Texas-based art shop offering two main styles: (1) Original fine-art photography from across Texas and (2) Digital Western Art created with AI and hand-edited by the artist. We also design blankets—Cozy Dog (breed-specific) and Personalized (including City blankets). All products are printed in the USA and made to order.
Who is the artist?
All artwork is by Bruce Lescalleet, a Texas photographer, designer, and AI prompt artist. Photography is captured and edited traditionally; digital art is AI-assisted and carefully curated and finished by hand.

Are Cozy Dog blankets breed-specific?
Yes—each Cozy Dog design is created for a specific breed (e.g., Labs, German Shepherds, Doodles). Backgrounds, colors, and layouts are composed by hand for that breed’s set.
How are Digital Western Art pieces made?
They begin with AI-generated imagery, then are hand-edited (color, layout, detail) so the final print meets our quality and style standards.

Sizing, Colors & Care
Will colors on my screen match the final print?
We print using professional profiles and archival inks. Minor differences can occur due to device screens, but our prints are calibrated for consistent, rich color.
How do I care for blankets?
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle; tumble dry low; do not bleach or iron the print.
How do I care for prints/canvas?
Handle with clean, dry hands. Avoid direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures. Dust canvas lightly with a soft, dry cloth.
Production & Shipping (U.S.)
How long does production take?
Most items print in 2–4 business days. During peak seasons or for personalized items, allow a bit more time.
When will I get my order?
After production, U.S. shipping typically takes 3–7 business days depending on carrier and destination. You’ll receive tracking via email.
Do you ship internationally?
We primarily serve the United States. If you need international shipping, please contact us to see what’s possible.
Orders, Changes & Cancellations
Can I change or cancel my order?
Because each order is custom-made, cancellations or changes are not guaranteed once production begins. Please contact us immediately if you need assistance.
How do I track my order?
You’ll get a shipping confirmation with a tracking link. You can also reach us via Contact with your order number.
Returns, Replacements & Our Guarantee
What’s your policy for made-to-order and personalized items?

Made-to-order & personalized items are final sale unless there’s a production defect or damage in transit.

If anything arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days with photos and your order number; we’ll replace it promptly.
- Returns are accepted only for quality, production, or shipping defects. Returns do not cover design preferences, slight size variations, or color differences due to monitors/printing.
What if my package is lost or arrives with shipping damage?
We do not take responsibility for stolen packages or packages marked delivered. You are responsible for filing a claim for shipping damage, but we will assist where we can.
